SCC Wi-Fi

Credit Students & Employees:

• From your device's Wi-Fi settings, select "SCC".
• For username/identity: Use your full college email address.
• For password: Use your campus password. (The same one you use for Portal and Canvas)
• For Chromebooks and some Android devices: Set the "EAP Method" to "PEAP" and the "CA Certificate" to "Do not check/validate".
• On a Mac device, you may need to manually add the network. You can do this by going to the Network options in your taskbar. Click "Open Network Preferences," and make sure you are in the WiFi section. Select "Advanced..." and then press the "+" icon to add a WiFI network. Type in "SCC-STUDENT" as the network name and then use your college credentials as the login.

Non-Credit Students & Guests:

• From your device's Wi-Fi settings, select "SCC-Guest".
• Depending on your device, this will either immediately open a web page or you will see the web page once you try to use a web browser.
• If the splash page does not come up, you can access it by going to gstatic.com via your Internet Browser after connecting to the SCC Guest network.
• Click on "Register for Guest Access".
• Add your name and email address.
• You should now be connected. If you have other devices you would like to connect, save the password that was generated.
• Guest Wi-Fi logins are valid for 24 hours from the time they're created.
