Overview
In order to improve the student experience, any Apple ID that uses an email address associated with St. Charles Community College is being migrated to Managed Apple IDs. This will allow students and staff to use Single Sign on for their Apple IDs that are being used for Classes or College business.
Issue
If Faculty, Staff or Students have used their SCC Email address to set up a personal Apple ID, they will need to migrate this account to a personal email account to keep purchases, iCloud content, etc. If the account is used only for official college business or classes, there is no need to continue, these will be automatically converted.
Staff/Faculty Conversion Date: October 15, 2024

Process
1. Open a browser and navigate to https://appleid.apple.com and choose Sign In
2. Enter your @stchas.edu email address
3. Enter your AppleID Password (not your email/SSO password)
4. Enter your personal email address (gmail, yahoo, etc)
5. Apple will send a code to this email address to verify ownership. Enter the code you received.
6. Once complete, Apple will ask for a new payment method. You can enter your information or click the X to close this dialog and enter your payment information later.
