- Open a browser and navigate to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/
- Click on the Security info option on the left-side pane
- Click the + Add Sign-in method
- In the dropdrown, select Authenticator app
- Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device
- Click Accept within the app on the privacy screen that appears after downloading
- Click Continue on the next screen for improving the app
- Click Scan a QR code
- Click OK to allow the app to access your camera
- Back in your browser window, click Next -- on the Start by getting the app screen
- Click Next again – on the Set up your account screen
- Scan the QR code from within your Microsoft authenticator app on your phone
- Click Allow on the notifications pop-up within your
- Click Next in your browser window
- Enter the number displayed in your browser into your authenticator app
- The Microsoft Authenticator app should now be registered for your account
- When accessing an SCC application utilizing MFA, open your Windows authenticator app to view the one-time passcode (OTP) for entering into the authentication prompt
Note: If you have multiple authentication methods setup, you can change the default sign-in method to your preferred option. Click the Change link at the top and select the appropriate method from the dropdown. Click Confirm.
